LIVE: NASA and SpaceX launch the first operational Crew Dragon mission to ISS

The NASA and SpaceX are set to launch the first joint crew rotation mission to the International Space Station on Sunday, November 15.

The SpaceX’s Crew Dragon will lift off from the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. It comes on the heels of the successful launch and return of the Demo-2 mission which officially concluded the spaceship's testing stage and certified it for NASA use.

NASA astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover and Shannon Walker, as well as Soichi Noguchi from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, will ride the Crew Dragon to the International Space Station. They will join the existing ISS crew, including Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and NASA astronaut Kate Rubins.​
